This is a series of three wonderful wildlife documentaries unlike any that had ever been seen, until the amazing Kratt Brothers came to PBS. Chris and Martin Kratt act as enthusiastic hosts and knowledgeable nature experts in a style that has since become famous on PBS's "Kratt's Creatures" and now "Zoboomafoo." The Kratts travel to remote places to get "up close and personal" with remarkable creatures: to Costa Rica for sea turtles (Arribada!) and sloths (Slowly Goes The Sloth); and to Madagascar for lemurs.
The Kratts have a contagious sense of play and relate very well to their young audience. Their high-energy on-site narration includes the kids in their adventures as they unfold. The videos are action-packed, fact-filled and very funny. They encourage children to get out and experience nature on their own. At the same time the Kratts teach respect and empathy for other living creatures.
