Imagine discovering that you don't own the mineral rights under your land, and that an energy company plans to drill for natural gas two hundred feet from your front door. Imagine another shocking truth: you have little or no recourse to protect your home or land from such development. SPLIT ESTATE maps a tragedy in the making, as citizens in the path of a new drilling boom in the Rocky Mountain West struggle against the erosion of their civil liberties, their communities and their health.
As our appetite for fossil fuels increases despite mounting public health concerns, SPLIT ESTATE cracks the sugarcoating on an industry that assures us it is a good neighbor, and drives home the need for alternatives -- both here and abroad.
Community Screenings Rental Packages
There are two options for community screenings rental packages. In addition to the DVD which is licensed for you to show in public (provided no admission fee is charged), you will receive postcards and mini-posters to publicize the event, and you will receive consumer DVDs that you can sell to recoup your expenses and spread the word.
Be sure to give us 3 weeks' notice to give us time to get the publicity materials to you and for you to publicize the event in your local community.
Note: These prices are for a onetime screening only. Contact us if you plan multiple screenings. Regardless of the option you choose you will be required to return the Community License DVD.
$99 "Basic Package" which consists of one (1) Community License DVD, 5 Consumer DVDs, 100 postcards and 4 mini posters.
$199 "Activist Package" which consists of one (1) Community License DVD, 10 Consumer DVDs, 150 postcards and 6 mini posters.
