An unscheduled stop on a railroad crossing leads to a radical redesign of the Eco Van. So what do you get when you join the front half of a VW Beetle with the rear of a Morris Minor van? A very quiet, pollution-free vehicle, albeit one without an engine. But alternative energy sources are all around, waiting to be tapped - the sun, the wind, the rain...maybe even a couple of freeloading rats.

Other titles in the series are:

Good Riddance: Rats - Eco, the pest controller, applies his eco-friendly methods to a mischievous group of rats.

Good Riddance: Flies - Eco uses frogs and a spider to combat a pesky fly infestation.

Good Riddance: Snails - An organic garden has been overrun by a mob of hungry snails.

Good Riddance: Termites - Eco combats a nest of termites that are dining on his home.

The DVD version of this program is recorded on DVD-R which is not compatible with some older DVD players. See the new DVD page for more details.

Reviews:
"The star of the series...provides an ingenious solution to the problem of air pollution. Top notch animation assisted by humor makes this film truly enjoyable. Recommended" Educational Media Reviews Online

"A great example of the creativity and innovation needed as we strive for a healthy environment. An entertaining lesson on environmental solutions for children or a discussion starter for college students and adults, this film quickly broaches topics from science and technology in society to environmental ethics and ecology in a fun, non-threatening way. While the solutions created are by no means realistic, the film opens up the opportunity for conversation about alternative forms of energy and shows the need to adapt our hurried lifestyle in order to make such solutions work... The brevity and lightness of the film along with great animation, far from the heavy concern often elicited in today's environmental education, lends itself to demonstrating the fun, passionate side of the creative struggle to preserve our planet." Josh Bochniak, Coalition for Education in the Outdoors, Taproot magazine
