GULFSTREAM follows the breath-taking voyage of a small trimaran
from the Gulf Stream's source near the Equator to the Grand Banks
of Newfoundland, and gives a clear, scientific explanation of the
origin, nature, and importance of the Gulf Stream. It uses
remarkable satellite time-lapse photography, as well as the close-
up inspection of tiny, irridescent, underwater creatures to reveal
a wealth of oceanographic, meteorological, and ecological data,
while retaining a sense of mystery and beauty.
