GREEN ANIMATION is a compilation of short, fresh animated
films about environmental issues. Under the sponsorship of the
World Wide Fund for Nature in the UK, animators and musicians
- some student, some professional -- combine talents to
prompt laughter, anger, indignation and action for an
ecologically sound future.
Good animators reveal truths with the merest brushstroke, and
it is this talent for cutting to the heart of the matter that
makes this compilation so useful in provoking classroom and
audience discussion at any level that the viewers choose.
This collection of 11 short films is accompanied by a
teacher's guide, and has reference markers to help discussion
leaders have easy access to any particular film.

- "...an example of how powerful, visual communication can
be...This production is unique and has incredible potential
for classroom applications....[In libraries] it might soon
become a resource that is always checked out. Not only is it
entertaining, it is thought-provoking, and the images are
radical enough that even the MTV generation will likely relate
well to them." **** Video Rating Guide
